I find it interesting that I never took a photography class or an Art History course, but I don't use that as a crutch in what I do; instead, I use the internet & other peoples recommendations to educate myself in what I love. Lately my research has been through web videos and movies about great photographers that have opened my eyes.

I recently discovered, Allison V. Smith, a Dallas photographer whose work I deeply admire. Her style captures true light, depth, and color. It's so clean and unique that I used her work as inspiration for a project I worked on for a church.

I hope one day I'll get to meet her, and have the honor of spending a day with her at work.
