You Are My Sunshine

Dearest Metro Diner,

The truth is, I'm going to miss you, more than my words can deeply describe. It saddens me to know, that some of my favorite people, who I have in trusted in sharing my love for you, can not see the charm you posses, the loyalty in your work, and the compassion that you so generously give, without anything in return. You are everything that I love about "Mom & Pop" shops, the definition of hole in the wall dining, and not a single disappointing experience.

I'm grateful for the last five years with you, when we where first introduced by the amazing Fabian Couple, after an amazing performance by Sean Lennon. It was that night that I knew, how truly special you are, and how magical you would make every late night experience be. A late night at Lee Harvey's would not be complete without more tunes from you infamous Jukebox. A great concert would not come to an end without your sunny side ups. And how does one cure a "last call", without your bold cup of coffee?

I wish I can capture you, in the way that I feel for you. I wish I can show the World the way you're meant to be seen. I wish you would stay with us a little bit longer, if not forever.

I will miss you my friend, but I will love you always.

A little while back, Jalon surprised me with tickets to see Kevin Smith's touring film "Red State". Which, may I say, is a great film and definitely not for the weak. It has gore, violence, radicalism, and pure dark comedy. It is perhaps one of Kevin Smith's best film yet, and although it will be his second to last film in his career, he clearly does not disappoint.
