Fun shoot this past Saturday with cutie pie Riley & her adorable bff Olivia. I also added my favorite baby photos I shot on Sunday; this weekend was all about the cuteness!

Its so rewarding to capture new born babies, they are by far my favorite clients... when they're asleep ;-)

Continuing on my "type" series, here are a few images that make me smile. Oh and yes, that is an engagement ring. Joseph and I have worked through our separation and chose to step into a stronger and prosperous future.

Last December I started playing around with a text concept I had; matching photos I've taken to lyrics I love. Then in January when I got my first camera phone, (that's right kids, my FIRST Camera Phone.) I began documenting my day and used the images to make its own statement. So far I'm digging both ideas, and I'm hoping to make more as long as my heart is still in it.

Interesting enough, Joseph was asked to show case some of his work at the Starbucks he works at and when they asked if he knew other artists who would like to participate, he asked if photography was allowed and they said sure. Which turned into him asking if I'd like to participate, and luckily I've got something worth showing... kinda. So looks like I'll be having my first showing this weekend. Time to print and frame these puppies out!

Which goes to show you, if you've got an idea just run with it. Don't wait it out because you never know when that good idea is going to come in handy.
